Call For Papers

IAFOR welcomes participants to The Second Asian Undergraduate Research Symposium 2016 (AURS2016), to be held from Thursday, October 21 - Sunday, October 23, 2016, at the Art Center of Kobe, Kobe, Japan.

Publish before a global audience. Present in a supportive environment. Network and create new relationships. Hear the latest research. Experience the beautiful and traditional city of Kobe, Japan. Join a global academic community.

Conference Theme

The conference theme for AURS2016 is “Students as Colleagues: New Directions”.

The Asian Conference on Education (ACE) one of the largest international academic conferences in Asia, includes the Undergraduate Research Symposium (AURS). AURS provides undergraduates with an exciting opportunity to present and learn from researchers and professionals from around the globe. Following the inaugural conference in 2015, ACE is again reaching out to undergraduate scholars from across all fields and disciplines to participate in the 2016 symposium. Here, students will share their academic research experiences and the knowledge they have acquired as an undergraduate working with professors or academic mentors.

AURS provides you with a motivating and thought-provoking opportunity to present your research, network with other undergraduates and academics from around the world, and learn of the ways in which your participation in the symposium can aid you in your future directions. All student presenters will also have the ability to attend other academic sessions as an observer during the conference. AURS2016 takes place in a supportive and collegial environment in beautiful Kobe.

IAFOR has five annual education conferences, exploring common themes in different ways to develop a shared research agenda which develops interdisciplinary discussion, heightens intercultural awareness and promotes international exchange.

We expect the 2016 conference themes to inspire a number of research avenues, and look forward to discussing your ideas, findings and synergies.

Abstracts of no more than 250 words should be submitted by August 20, 2016.

To submit an abstract, please visit the IAFOR Submission System.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
