Call For Papers

Techné, The Undergraduate Journal of Philosophy at the University of Illinois Urbana
Champaign, is currently accepting submissions in the field of philosophy to be published in the spring of 2026. Techné seeks to publish accomplished works from undergraduates worldwide, with an editorial team comprised of UIUC undergraduate and graduate students.

Submissions will be accepted in any area of philosophy and must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be between 3,000-8,000 words in length
2. Student status at time of submission must be undergraduate
3. Must include an abstract (150-400 words in length)
4. Citations and footnotes in Chicago style, or other consistent formatting style
5.Papers should be submitted to provide anonymity, remove personal identifiers from
file and paper
6.Submit works in .docx or doc format
