Call For Papers

SBCCI is an international forum dedicated to integrated circuits and systems design, test and electronic
design automation (EDA), held annually in Brazil, since 30 years. The 26th SBCCI will take place at Curitiba, capital of the
State of Paraná. The goal of the symposium is to bring together researchers in the areas of EDA, design
and test of integrated circuits and systems. The scope of the symposium includes technical sessions, tutorials
and panels, as well as an exhibition and working group meetings. The best papers presented at the
symposium will be invited to resubmit an extended version to be considered for publication at the IEEE
Design & Test and at the JICS - Journal of Integrated Circuits and Systems.

SBCCI strongly encourages international submissions. Prospective authors from around the world are
invited to submit manuscripts in English for consideration by the Program Committee. Manuscripts must
contain a maximum of 6 pages, two-column, following the ACM Press guidelines and be prepared for blind
review. Submissions of manuscripts previously published by other conferences or journals will not be
considered by the program committee. SBCCI submissions must be made electronically (in PDF format)
via the conference website. For proposals on special sessions, tutorials, panels and tool demos, please email
a short description to the program chairs directly in advance of the submission deadline. Authors should
include the complete address, phone/fax numbers and email address, and designate a contact person and
a presenter. The proceedings will be published by the ACM Press and will remain available at the ACM
Digital Library and IEEE Xplore.

Location:
Curitiba is the capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná. It is a cultural, political and economic centre in the
country and in Latin America. The city sits on a plateau at 932 metres above sea level. It is located 105
kilometres (65 mi) west of the sea port of Paranaguá. Curitiba’s rapid expansion was based on the cattle
trade, the city being located half-way between the cattle breeding country to the south and the markets
to the north. Waves of European immigrants started arriving after 1850, mainly Germans, Italians, Poles and
Ukrainians. In 2010 Curitiba was awarded the Globe Sustainable City Award which was set up to recognize
cities and municipalities which excel in sustainable urban development around the world.
