PURPOSE OF THE SYMPOSIUM
The objective of the Symposium is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for discussions
* on issues related to Chemical, Biological, Nuclear, Radiological and Explosives Protection,
* for decision makers, experts and scientists in the field of CBRNE, professionals in civil defence and emergency services, health services, police, customs, border guard, military and industry.
PRELIMINARY TOPICS OF THE SYMPOSIUM
* International cooperation, disarmament and arms control treaties, national implementation, awareness,
* Prevention, countermeasures, preparedness, recovery,
* Protection, decontamination and medical countermeasures,
* Malicious use of toxic industrial chemicals,
* Chemical weapons: case Syria.
ABSTRACTS AND PAPERS
Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts for oral presentations and posters. The deadline for abstracts is October 15, 2014. Please, send the abstract to chair2015.science@nbcsec.fi as an attachment. Authors will be informed before December 1, 2014 whether their abstracts have been accepted for oral or poster presentation. The deadline for papers is January 31, 2015.
EXHIBITION
An exhibition of CBRNE defence equipment will be arranged. Further information will be available by the end of July 2014 on the NBC 2015 web site.
