Call For Papers

The Hamburg Innovation Symposium (THIS) 2014
on Open and Collaborative Innovation in the Digital Era

focuses on a broad range of aspects of open and collaborative innovation. Besides keynote speakers that are leading experts on the topic, it will bring together established scholars and young researchers to discuss their current research on the topic.

Keynote speakers will be:
* Ammon Salter, University of Bath, UK
* Oliver Alexy, TU München, Germany
* Linus Dahlander, ESMT Berlin, Germany

The four following topic sessions are planned:
* The relation between Open Innovation and Absorptive Capacity in the digital era
* The impact of digitization on the role of selective revealing, licensing and spillovers for Open Innovation
* Collaborative open innovation: The role of technology for innovation networks and crowds
* Open and Collaborative Innovation & ICT: the role of standards and platforms

It is organized with support of the Körber Stiftung and the Chair of Management & Digital Markets at the University of Hamburg. The symposium is furthermore coordinated with a PhD summer school organized by a research cooperation between Aarhus University, University of South Denmark, University of Hamburg and University of Kiel.
