Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance Call for Papers
16 OCT 2013

The Center for Excellence in Disaster Management & Humanitarian Assistance invites submissions to the next issue of Liaison, a journal focusing on sharing knowledge from applied research to improve disaster management.

Our theme for this issue is Advances in Disaster Management.

We invite submissions, from contributors of all backgrounds, on enhancements to disaster management capabilities, including prevention, resiliency and response. Papers concerning assessment, lessons identified, technology, policy, organizational structures, project management, or training from local actors in the Asian-Pacific region are especially welcome.

The journal aims to promote increased understanding among disaster management practitioners and policy makers.

Abstracts are due by 10 January 2014 and the deadline for article receipt is 1 March 2014.

Please direct questions to the Editor Michael.Hallett.ctr@cfe-dmha.org.
