CR Research Partnership: Showcasing Original Research on the Future of Fiat Currency


Currency Conference | Berlin, Germany | 24-26 May 2027


As part of the 2027 Currency Conference, Currency Research will host the CR Research Partnership, a showcase for cutting-edge original research from central banks, regulators, government agencies, academic institutions, commercial banks, and other commercial organizations.


This initiative provides a unique platform for researchers and policy analysts to present recently completed studies to an audience of senior central bank and industry leaders during a dedicated session at the 2027 Currency Conference in Berlin.


Eligibility & Scope


We welcome submissions of original research completed no earlier than September 2026. The research must be directly related to the field of fiat currency, including, but not limited to:


-Cash Resilience
-The Future of Central Bank Money
-Access / Right to Cash
-Currency Design
-Cash Infrastructure: Who Shoulders the Burden?
-AI in the Cash Cycle
-Geopolitics / Reserve Currencies
-Demand Forecasting


Submissions must offer empirical analysis, theoretical models, policy insights, or practical applications relevant to the central banking / currency management community. Papers with practical applications will be prioritized.


How to Apply


Interested researchers are invited to submit:

 
1. Full research paper or near-final draft (in PDF format)

2. Short bio of the author(s), including institutional affiliation and contact details


Please email your submission to papers@currency-research.com no later than Monday 1 March 2027.


Submissions will be reviewed by a committee of senior advisors from the Currency Conference program board. Selected authors will be invited to present their work during a dedicated session at the 2027 Currency Conference in Berlin.
