SCOPE AND TOPICS

Being already a well established event in the scientific conference calendar in Bulgaria, the 3rd International Symposium on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine, BioInfoMed’2024, 4–6 July 2024 targets state-of-the-art research and innovation in the field of biomedicine, bioinformatics, computer technologies, public health and quality of life (including but not limited to):

-- Artificial intelligence in biomedicine and healthcare
-- Fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy sets and decision making under uncertainty

* Biomolecules and Tissue Engineering

-- Biomolecules and biomolecular modelling
-- Biomembranes and cellular processes
-- Biomaterials, cellular and tissue engineering

* Biomedical Approaches and Applications

-- Biomedical modelling and engineering
-- Biomedical imaging and image processing
-- Bioprocess modelling and engineering
-- Mathematics of physiological rhythms

* Technologies and Innovations in Healthcare

-- Human motion activity in normal and pathological conditions
-- Point-of-care technologies for healthcare
-- Innovations in kinesitherapy and rehabilitation

After a rigorous peer review process, full papers (up to 12 pages) will be published as a conference proceedings in a Springer book series. BioInfoMed'2020 and BioInfoMed'2022 conference proceedings were published in "Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems" (vol. 374 and 658).

VENUE AND LOCATION
==================

Burgas is the fourth-largest city in Bulgaria and the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, at the eastern border of the European Union.

The city is an important centre for sea tourism, cultural tourism, and balneology. Nearby is the 3,000-year-old ancient city of Nessebar – one of the seven sites from the UNESCO World Heritage List located in Bulgaria. The ancient history comes together with rich local biodiversity.

With its cozy architecture in the old town, wonderful restaurants and museums, rich cultural calendar and long beach strip, Burgas is a preferred place for both local people and international visitors.

BioInfoMed’2024 will take place at the International Congress Center Burgas.
