When: 30th & 31st January 2014 Submission deadline: 29th November Notifications due: 15th December Highlights Renowned keynote speakers (announced soon) Travel scholarships for EU researchers Excellent paper and poster prizes Social programme Theme and Topics ‘Human Disease Mapping’ – the broad theme of the conference – will ask young researchers how they have left their own unique mark on the ever-evolving map of human disease. Rather than providing an elaborate lecture on the methodological technicalities of their work, speakers will be encouraged to frame their talks in the wider context of their disease of interest; explaining the contemporary diagnostic and therapeutic issues surrounding the disease and elaborating on how their research has successfully addressed these issues. All forms of human biomedical science will be considered for HDM. Six overarching topics will comprise each scientific session. They are: Respiratory disease Neuro / psychiatric disorders Molecular endocrinology and cancer Cardiovascular disease Regenerative medicine Drug design and development Author instructions: Abstract submission commences on the 1st of September. Both oral and poster presentations are available for applicants. If you wish to apply for HDM 2014, please download the abstract submission form and send to humandiseasemapping@gmail.com by the 15th of October. Following the submission deadline, all applications will be reviewed by the scientific committee.
