Health is one of the largest sectors that provide employment worldwide, and no doubt has strategic importance, both for the socio-economic impact, and for the high involvement and use of advanced technologies. Telemedicine is the result of integration and convergence of the following disciplines; telecommunication networks, medicine and health services, medical database and health information systems. In particular, telemedicine must include the exchange of medical data coming from several sources in order to support the diagnostic/ therapeutical process. The type of data and process support provided by the ICT service provider depends on the type of medical application.

The increasing use of ICT tools in the digital age will provide many benefits, from advance in research to helping poor countries in achieving quality health care. This conference aims at sharing knowledge and practices in the fields of e-Health and Telemedicine, and at the same time pave the way for more inter-institutional collaboration in research that would lead to better healthcare and health services, especially in poor countries in the Middle East and North Africa. On the other hand, the Conference aims at bringing researchers together around a table for discussion, joint ventures and projects.

We invite you to attend the "International Conference on E-Health and TeleMedicine" and submit an abstract/full paper proposal. All accepted presentations will be published in the proceedings book.
