Welcome to the LCN web site! A particular welcome to those who are new to the IEEE LCN conference and this web site. You can find information on past LCN conferences in our "Prior LCN conferences" section. Nonetheless, a cordial welcome to our regular guests of LCN — both past authors/presenters as well as attendees.
The IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks, sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society, is one of the networking industry's oldest, continuously running conferences. The LCN focuses on practical, leading-edge applications and research in the area of computer networks. It has an informal, workshop-style atmosphere, offering significant opportunity for speakers, panelists, and attendees to spend time together. The papers presented at the LCN are subject to thorough peer review and are published in the LCN Proceedings (online available via IEEE Xplore). Attendees come from around the world.
