The Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law will be hosting the Católica Graduate Legal Research Conference - Law and Sustainability on October 23rd 2025, which precedes the 3rd edition of the Lisbon Climate Conference, occurring on October 24th, 2025.

We welcome submissions from Ph.D. candidates on the following topics:

Legal mechanisms for environmental protection and climate resilience;
Sustainability in international law and global governance;
ESG, Corporate sustainability and legal accountability;
The role of law in energy transitions and renewable resource management;
Environmental justice and the protection of vulnerable populations;
Legal Strategies for Sustainable Cities and Communities;
Artificial Intelligence, Law, and Sustainability.

Final papers have the possibility to be published in Católica Law Review.
