Introduction
In today's connected globe, there is no shortage of data. People with at least the minimum level knowledge of the Internet, are familiar with the terms like big data, data lake, data warehouse, and so on. It is possible nowadays to get enough data and even processed data, i.e., information about an individual or an entity that has some digital record available somewhere when using Internet or Internet-like digital information carrier. Again, a setting like data lake, which is basically a consolidated, centralized storage area for raw, unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data, acquired from multiple sources (without any predefined schema) allows one to dig deep into some target entity's even private affairs. In spite of the plethora of data and information available for analysis, the key challenges related to trust and security remain almost the same. This is because, just huge amount of data may not actually serve the purpose of better understanding of an issue or in other words, may cause even more confusion or misudnerstanding. In fact, wrong understanding can lead to serious consequence in the decision making process especially for human life related issues for military or healthcare sectors, for instance. Indeed, whether available data about something can be trusted or not has become a serious problem nowadays with various methods of intentional fake inputs (from different quarters). Fake news, fake information, deliberate misleading of events by made-up data or information are making the task of relying on available data difficult in the era of Internet of Everything (IoE). Such a complex setting does not anymore show lack of data but it is the abundance of data that is causing the problem and confusion (often).

Objective
In this Special Issue, we look for papers that deal with mechanisms to ensure trust and security of data in such complex environments. Accurate data modeling or analysis and any related technical work would be of interest.

Recommended Topics
- Artificial Intelligence techniques for ensuring trust of data
- Blockchain based applications for data integrity protection
- Tackling various types of attacks against data integrity and data fidelity
- Assessing data reliability in complex setting like IoE
- Real-time monitoring of data during its acquisition
- Machine learning and Deep learning methods for data trust and security
- Psychological and social issues while analyzing data source
- Data acquisition from social media platforms and other complex settings
- Trust in complex network setting
- Attacks and countermeasures against data in IoE

Submission Procedure
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit papers for this special theme issue on Trust and Security of Data in the Complex Setting of Internet of Everything on or before 20 January, 2020. All submissions must be original and may not be under review by another publication. INTERESTED AUTHORS SHOULD CONSULT THE JOURNAL’S GUIDELINES FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/. All submitted papers will be reviewed on a double-blind, peer review basis. Papers must follow APA style for reference citations.

All submissions and inquiries should be directed to the attention of:
