Computational Methods in Water Resources (CMWR) is a series of conference dating back to 1976 organized every two years alternatively in America and in Europe. It has continuously promoted interdisciplinary approaches relying on excellence in hydrological sciences, mathematical and computational sciences.

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

The following paper categories are welcome:

Reactive transport modelling - Scott Painter (Oak Ridge National Laboratory) and Marco Dentz (Spanish National Research Council)

Data-centric simulations and modelling - Hari Viswanathan (Los Alamos National Laboratory) and Jonghyun Harry Lee (University of Hawaii)

Computational methods of surface hydrology and ecohydrology - Amilcare Porporato (Princeton University)

Multiphysics simulations - Nicola Castelleto (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory)

Computational methods for multiphase flows in porous media - Avinoam Rabinovich (Tel Aviv University) and Hamd Tchelepi (Stanford University)

Multiscale simulations and modeling - Haruko Wainwright (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory)

Computational models of fractured systems - Alexandre Lapine (TOTAL)

Software and high-performance computing - Joshua White and Carol Woodward (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory)

Decision support for water resource management - Kate Maher and Rosemary Knight (Stanford University)

The scientific committee decided to start by advertising online only broad themes and soliciting contributions to those. Once we get the submissions, we will arrange them into more specific sessions. In the meanwhile, the co-organizers will continue recruiting speakers to their respective sessions.
