23rd SIGDA University Booth at the 47th Design Automation Conference
Anaheim Convention Center Anaheim, California

(Deadline: May 1st for full consideration--Applications accepted until
May 8th)

The 23rd SIGDA University Booth is coming to DAC at Anaheim, CA with a
new and improved format this year:

1. The University Booth is relocating to a premium location right
off the technical sessions for improved visibility.

2. The project submission is in a video presentation format; a
promotional version (approximately one minute in length), and an
in-depth technical version (up to ten minutes in length,
approximately three to five minutes) for review. These two videos
will be used on the DAC and SIGDA websites for publicity and on the
electronic displays at the University Booth during the tradeshow,
respectively.

3. All submissions selected for an in-person demonstration at the
University Booth will qualify for significant travel reimbursements
(increased to approximately $1,000 per project), subject to the
rules stated below.

The SIGDA University Booth at the Design Automation Conference
provides an opportunity for the university community to demonstrate
EDA tools, design projects, and instructional materials at the
Exhibits section of the Design Automation Conference. Presenters and
attendees at DAC are especially encouraged to participate, but
participation is open to all members of the university community.
Participants will conduct demonstrations at the booth. The University
Booth provides demonstration space, displays, and a wireless
connection to the Internet.

Video demonstrations should include a brief title sequence identifying
the name of the research group and university, the team members, and
stating "SIGDA University Booth at DAC 2010." Otherwise, there is
complete freedom in how a group wishes to present their
work. Participants at the University Booth are also provided with
significant travel grant reimbursements, provided that demonstrations
are completed during the time slots that they are
scheduled. Participants who receive funding for the conference via
alternative sources such as the SIGDA Ph.D. Forum and the DAC/ISSCC
Student Design Contest are not eligible for travel grants through the
University Booth.

The registration for the University Booth is available now at the
SIGDA website at
http://www.sigda.org/programs/Ubooth/UBooth2010. Notification of
acceptance and travel reimbursement will begin by May 1st, 2010 and
finalize by May 8th, 2010. Apply early!!!
