Special Issue on Similarity solutions in nonlinear PDE’s








OBJECTIVES:

One of the most powerful methods available to analyze nonlinear partial differential equations is the similarity technique. An important feature of these methods is that one derives special solutions associated with nonlinear partial differential equations straightforwardly which are sometimes inaccessible through other methods. The Similarity plays a distinguish role in the analysis of qualitative properties of solution to a large number of nonlinear problems. The goal of this special issue is to collect several articles in this area highlighting the importance of and its Applications.


TOPICS:

Topics include but are not limited to:
1.Ordinary differential equations,
2.Self-similar blow-up profiles in nonlinear PDE’s,
3.Self-similarity and traveling-waves,
4.Heat and mass transfer equations,
5.Flows through porous media.



SUBMISSION INFORMATION:

The manuscripts should be submitted to one of the issue Guest Editors with a covering letter. It is recommended to send the pdf version of the paper. All manuscripts will be subject to peer review. If finally accepted, the articles must be formatted by the authors according to ”Author Instructions” of the journal (http://ceser.res.in/ijamas.html).

Deadline for Full Paper Submission: 15 July 2010
Paper Review Notification: 30 September, 2010
Paper Acceptance: 30 November, 2010
