The 2nd International conference on Water Resources in Arid Areas (WRAA2020) will be held on March 16-19, 2020 at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. This conference calls for contributions from interested individuals or institutions. Presentation and paper topics include but are not limited to: (1) Subsurface hydrology; (2) Salinization and irrigation practices; (3) Climate change and water resources; (4) Economics and management of wastewater; (5) Water desalination and purification technologies; (6) Aflaj and traditional water systems; (7) Hydroinformatics; (8) Urban water.
Both oral and poster presentations will be held during the conference. Please prepare your abstract and poster according to the template available from the conference website. Abstract should be submitted online using the link on the conference website.
All the WRAA2020 accepted papers will be published by Springer. Springer will submit the proceedings to Web of Knowledge and Scopus for indexing. Excellent papers will be selected by conference editors and published as two special issues in the Journal of Arid Land (IF: 1.444) and Earth Systems and Environment (Indexed in Scopus since June 2019). Authors of high-quality papers (determined by the editors) may be supported for the conference participation. Papers should be prepared using the template provided by the conference.
