2020 Workshop on Graphene Applications (WGA 2020) is co-organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers (HKSME).The conference will be held in Shenzhen , China during Oct. 23-25, 2020.
The conference will serve as an international forum for the presentation and exchange of technological advances and research results in the broad fields of graphene. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world.
We warmly welcome prospective authors to submit your research papers to WAG 2020, and share your latest research results and valuable experiences with other top-scientists, engineers and scholars from all over the world.
●Publication and Indexing
1.All the registered and presented papers will be published in the volume of Conference Proceeding , which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS) and other databases for review and indexing.
2.Selected papers with extension can be recommended to publish in International journals.
Prof. Ying-Cheng Lai, Arizona State University, USA
I am the ISS Endowed Professor of Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University. Honors include a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) from the White House in 1997, election as a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 1999, selection by the Pentagon as a Vannevar Bush Faculty Fellow, and election into the National Academy of Science and Letters of Scotland as a Corresponding Fellow in 2018. My current research interests are nonlinear dynamics, complex networks, physics of Dirac materials, quantum chaos, mathematical biology, data analysis and machine learning.
Prof. Alan Kin Tak Lau,Swinburne University of Technology, Australia
Professor Lau is a practical engineer, academic and manager in both the academic and commercial sectors.In 2013, he was appointed Associate Dean (Industrial Relations) of the Faculty of Engineering in the same university. Currently, he is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Performance and Development) of Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.For his significant contributions to the field of science and engineering, he was elected a Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of European Academy of Sciences and Arts in 2007 and 2016, respectively.

Foreign academician of Russian Academy of engineering. Chief scientist of resource comprehensive utilization and new material innovation team, Dean of School of materials science and engineering, China University of Geosciences (Beijing), director of Beijing Key Laboratory for the utilization of nonmetallic minerals and solid waste resources, director of national circular economy Engineering Laboratory for the comprehensive utilization of nonmetallic minerals and industrial solid waste resources, and technical innovation center for mining area ecological restoration engineering, Ministry of natural resources Deputy director.
Prof. Haitao Huang,Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China
He is currently the Professor and Program Leader of postgraduate studies in the Department of Applied Physics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His current research interests include materials for energy storage and conversion (such as supercapacitors, rechargeable batteries and solar cells), and ferroelectric materials for energy applications. He is currently on the editorial board of Scientific Reports, Composites Communications, Science of Advanced Materials, and Materials Report Energy. He is also the board committee member of the International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science (IAOEES).
Prof. Jinqing Wang,Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS, China
Ph.D. Supervisor of doctoral students, "Hundreds Talent Program" Scholar of Chinese Academy of Sciences State Key Laboratory of Solid Lubrication, Research interests of our group include the areas of synthesis, structural characterization, and application studies of advanced functional materials.
Prof. Lingbinig Kong, Shenzhen Technology University, China
Ling Bing KONG joined Shenzhen Technology University, as a Professor, in July 2018. His research interests include processing and characterization of functional ceramics, electromagnetic composite materials and functional nanomaterials. He is a Member of Editorial Board for Soft Nanoscience Letters (SCIRP), Research & Reviews in Electrochemistry, ISRN Ceramics, and Journal of Advanced Dielectrics, and an Associate/Academic Editor of American Chemical Science Journal, Indian Science and Engineering Journal and Open Physics.
Dr. Xi Zhang, Shenzhen University, China
Associate researcher, School of mechanical and electrical and control engineering, Shenzhen University. Research fields include micro nano machinery, photoelectric sensor, photoelectric wearable intelligent equipment, photoelectric sensor robot, etc. She has published many academic papers in domestic and foreign journals and has many patents.
Dr. Shuhui Yu, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Science, China
Presided over the youth program (50807038) and general program (51377157, 51777209) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, outstanding youth program of Shenzhen basic research program, individual program of basic discipline layout and peacock program, research and development program of cooperation between the Academy of Sciences and Guangdong Province, and overseas returnees funded by the Ministry of human resources, participated in three major projects of the Ministry of science and technology and one key research and development program.
