6th International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and
Multimedia Signal Processing (IIH-MSP 2010) October 15- 17, 2010 Darmstadt, Germany http://www.igd.fraunhofer.de/igd-a8/iihmsp10/ http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~iihmsp10/ Submission deadline May 10, 2010 DESCRIPTION Multimedia technologies with an increasing level of intelligence are emerging to enable the process of creating a global information infrastructure that will interconnect heterogeneous computer networks and various forms of information technologies around the world. The conference is intended as an international forum for researchers and professionals in all areas of information hiding and multimedia signal processing. We invite submissions of papers presenting a high quality original research and development for the conference tracks: 1) Information Hiding and Security, 2) Multimedia Signal Processing and Networking, and 3) Bio- inspired Multimedia Technologies and Systems. PAPER SUBMISSION Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. Each paper should follow the IEEE paper format with title, authors' names, affiliations and email addresses, an up to 150- word abstract, and a two- column body with 4 single- spaced pages and with font size at 10 pts. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format only - see http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~iihmsp10/. IIHMSP10 INVITED SESSIONS In IIHMSP10, a number of organized sessions are planned. If you are interested in proposing an organized session, please contact one of Invited Session Chairs (see http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~iihmsp10/) before March 31, 2010. Notice that planning an invited session involves the specification of: -a session title describing an investigated topic with few words -a brief description explaining the main guidelines -a proposition of some expert names with affiliations in the domain of interest -organize an invited session with 4 to 10 papers SCOPE: Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Track I: Information Hiding and Security - Watermarking: techniques, attacks, protocols, applications - Steganography and steganalysis: techniques, protocols, applications - Cryptography and cryptanalysis: techniques, protocols, applications - Data authentication issues and access control themes - Broadcast and public- key encryption - Forensic analysis and tracing traitors - Digital rights management and legal aspect - RFID security and home network privacy - Platform integrity and trusted computing - Systems engineering and development for information hiding & security - VLSI/ASIC/FPGA/SOC design and implementation for information hiding & security - Enabling technologies and emerging standards for information hiding & security Track II: Multimedia Signal Processing and Networking - Multimedia sensing and sensory systems - Multimedia source coding and channel coding - Multimedia signal analysis and visualization - Multimedia signal mining and data fusion - Multimedia networking and communication techniques (wired & wireless) - Multimedia/multimodal signals interpretation and automatic recognition - Multimedia databases and retrievals - Multimedia hyperlink techniques and applications - Advances in multimedia content description interface (e.g. MPEG- 7) - Advances in multimedia framework: (e.g. MPEG- 21) - Systems engineering and development for multimedia systems - Enabling technologies and emerging standards for multimedia systems Track III: Bio- Inspired Multimedia Technologies and Systems - Artificial neural networks for multimedia processing: models, learning paradigms, architectures, and implementations - Fuzzy systems and evolutionary computing for intelligent multimedia processing - Human- machine multimodal interaction: e.g. face/speech recognition, facial expression and emotion categorization, gesture analysis and recognition, etc. IMPORTANT DATES - Paper submission: May 10, 2010 - Notification: June 10, 2010 - Camera- ready paper submission: July 2, 2010 |
