Call For Papers

BSides returns to Tallahassee on January 11th, 2020!
Our event is expanding with a larger venue through the Tallahassee Community College.
Hosted by the Capital City Cyber Defense Network, 501c3.

Do you have original computer science, IT Security, hacking, or compliance related presentations that you'd like to give in front of an engaged crowd of students, infosec pros, and Government IT leaders from around the SouthEast? Then submit to present at BSides Tallahassee, part of the international BSides security conference series.

We're open to all presentations, whether this is the first time you're presenting or you've given a similar talk at other conferences and just want to share it again. Do you have tales of finding a new exploit? Or a novel application of an open source defense project? How about a unique way that you've solved compliance challenges? Submit your presentation for consideration today!

All speakers receive a conference T-Shirt, lunch, and a free guest pass.

We're expecting to more than double in size in our second year with an expanded lock pick village and cyber range to encourage discussion and interactive learning.

Please note: We do not accept sales or recruitment focused presentations. It is acceptable to mention your product/service/company, but it is not acceptable to make it the primary focus of your presentation unless it directly relates to a free, open-source solution that all conference attendees can utilize. Though the presentation does not have to be new for BSides Tallahassee, it does have to represent the speaker's own original work.

Even if you've never presented before, come give it a try with a friendly, eager crowd of attendees at BSides Tallahassee! The speaker selection committee is accepting and reviewing submissions on a rolling basis, so all slots may be filled long before the submission deadline. Submit early to make sure you can get in!
