Call For Papers

A Call For Papers and workshops.

Security B-Sides MSP is very excited to announce the 2019 event, September 26th to September 28th.

WHO WE ARE:

Security B-Sides MSP understands that the success of security is cross-disciplinary and relies on the skills and knowledge from multiple complimentary domains of knowledge. B-Sides MSP is a committed local group with nationwide contacts in all areas of information security and from skill levels ranging from entry-level to Vice Presidents and CEOs of major Security firms.

WHAT IS BSides? (from http://www.securitybsides.com/):
Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

WORKSHOPS, TOPIC AND PAPER GUIDELINES:

We are encouraging and seeking a mix of papers, presentations and workshops. We would like to have something for everyone, so we will be looking at and considering everything from 101 level introductory material for those entering the field, up to cutting edge deeply technical topics. Workshops will be on the 26th, with papers and presentations on the 27th and 28th.

EVALUATION CRITERIA:

Submissions will be evaluated by the community based on originality, relevance, and applicability to the audience. Papers/presentations that have been previously presented should be identified as such, preference will be given to new or significantly (50%+) updated works.

Submitted papers will be reviewed by and selected by the community.

Visit https://goo.gl/forms/Bv3DP8UIoPr3lPHt1 for submission information.

Papers inappropriate for, or that would violate the B-Sides MSP Code of Conduct will not be sent for review, notification will immediately be made in these cases.
