Call For Papers | |||||||||
The IBC Conference is Europe’s foremost electronic media forum dealing with all the technical and strategic issues influencing today’s global media industries. It attracts professionals from across the world and provides them with a unique opportunity to share the latest technological information, thoughts on market trends, developments in operational practice and successful approaches to business.
Fellow media professionals are currently designing the 2010 Conference to ensure that it further enhances IBC’s strong reputation for the topical relevance of its content and debate. Topics are being selected for the conference sessions, keynote speakers are being identified, tutorial topics are being considered and supporting technical facilities are being commissioned for the entire event. Competition for the inclusion of papers in the sessions is, however, intense and it is the role of IBC’s experienced panel of industry experts to peer-review proposals and to choose those which they believe to be the most advanced, innovative or thought-provoking. What does a Technical Paper involve? The authors of successful proposals will be invited to prepare full papers for publication in the conference proceedings as well as to make 20-minute presentations at the Conference. It's an excellent opportunity to put your technology, your strategic thoughts and your company on the global technology map. In addition to publication in the conference proceedings, a selection of the best papers selected for 2010 will also be published in a prestigious special edition of the IET’s Journals. The best conference paper will receive the accolade of the IBC Conference Paper Award 2010. What are the criteria for submitting an entry? The deadline for receipt of all proposals is Friday 12 February 2010 (23:30 GMT). |
