Call for Papers – Journal: Horizon Insights

Horizon Insights is the quarterly open access journal published by Beyond the Horizon International Strategic Studies Group. In line with the group’s mission, Horizon Insights disseminates research offering in-depth analyses, insight and realistic policies about chronic and emerging security challenges, crises, conflicts, and war. In more general terms, qualitative and quantitative works addressing defense and security-related matters are covered in the journal. Horizon Insights welcomes your unsolicited manuscripts between 5.000-10.000 words. For more guidance on requirements please consult “Guidelines for Contributors” at http://www.behorizon.org/guideline-for-horizon-insights-contributors/.

Manuscripts for publication are accepted on a continuous basis. The journal is published in every March, June, September, and December. The next deadline for submissions is 10 September 2018. Subsequent deadlines are 1 February 2019, 1 May 2019, 1 August 2019 and 1 November 2019.

Submissions should be sent exclusively in electronic format to insights.editor@behorizon.org.

Upon receipt of your manuscript, a confirmation e-mail will be sent electronically. The results of the evaluation by the editors will be communicated to you through email. This evaluation process takes no more than 6 weeks.
