RECENT ADVANCES IN NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING

Varna, Bulgaria
http://www.lml.bas.bg/ranlp2019 [1]

Tutorials: 31 August – 1 September 2019 (Saturday-Sunday)
Main Conference: 2-4 September 2019 (Monday-Wednesday)
Workshops: 5-6 September 2019 (Thursday-Friday)

RANLP (Recent Advances in Natural Language Processing) is one of the
most
competitive NLP conferences. The event is held biennially and grew out of
the
International summer schools "Contemporary topics in
Computational
Linguistics" which were organised for many years as international
training
events. Previous RANLP conferences (1995, 1997, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007,
2009,
2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017) featured keynote talks by leading experts in
NLP
as well as presentations/papers of high quality, rigorously reviewed by a
Programme Committee of well-known scientists. A Student Research
Workshop
will be held in parallel to the main conference. The papers accepted at
RANLP-09 – RANLP-17 and the associated workshops were included in
the ACL
Anthology. The RANLP proceedings is indexed by SCOPUS and DBLP.
After 2017,
all accepted papers have DOI numbers. The conference will be preceded
by
tutorials on current hot topics and will be followed by specialised
workshops
in advanced subfields of NLP. The Student Research Workshops (now in
their
sixth edition) have become active discussion forums for young researchers.

Expected conference submission deadline: end of April/beginning of May
2019
(please check regularly http://www.lml.bas.bg/ranlp2019 [2] for updated
information)

Call for workshop proposals: December 2018

Venue: RANLP-19 will be held in Varna, the largest city on the Bulgarian
Black Sea Coast, in Hotel “Cherno More”
