The conference also invites submissions of cutting-edge workshop proposals to complement the technical program of VTC2018-Fall. Workshops provide invaluable opportunities for researchers and industry practitioners to share their state-of-the-art research and development results in areas of particular interest. More information on the workshop submission procedure can be found at the conference web site.

Tutorials will be available at the conference to provide opportunities for researchers from academia and industry to learn about state-of-the-art research and development from experts in a given field. The IEEE VTC2018-Fall Technical Program Committee invites submission of tutorial proposals for half-day presentation on topics of interest to the conference. More information on the tutorial submission procedure can be found at the conference web site.

As an adjunct to the VTC2018-Fall conference, the Technical Program Committee will offer a Recent Results track that will provide an opportunity for rapid publication of emerging work by industry and academia.

All submissions will undergo peer-review by subject matter experts, and the full paper version of accepted submissions will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore (conditional on in-person presentation at the conference). IEEE VPPC 2018 co-located with IEEE VTC2018-Fall

For the first time, the IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC) and the IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC) will be co-located. Delegates will only need to register for one of the conferences, VTC or VPPC, and move freely between the two conferences to explore and enjoy the programs of either event.

The IEEE VPPC 2018 Conference aims to provide a forum for sharing knowledge, experience and creative ideas in vehicle power and propulsion. One of the main goals is to provide an interesting exchange about vehicle power and propulsion to develop and promote technologies to enlarge the e-mobility network. VPPC will include keynote presentations by authoritative speakers, technical sessions, tutorials, poster presentations, special and invited sessions, and exhibits.

Technical papers, tutorials and industry participations are all welcome in, but not limited to, the following technical areas:
- Regular Track #1: Energy Storage and Generation, Components and Systems
- Regular Track #2: Power Electronics, Motor Drives and Electric Power Systems
- Regular Track #3: Vehicular Electronics and Intelligent Transportation Systems
- Regular Track #4: Control and Energy Management of Transportation Systems
- Regular Track #5: Modeling, Analysis and Simulation of Transportation Systems
- Regular Track #6: Charging Systems and Infrastructures
- Regular Track #7: Hydrogen Refueling Infrastructures and Fuel Cell Vehicles

In addition proposals for special sessions to complement the technical program of VPPC are also gratefully solicited. Special sessions tend to explore more focused areas of interest to the VPPC community.

For anyone wanting to submit papers directly to VPPC 2018, please visit the TrackChair paper submission site: https://vppc2018.trackchair.com/

If you would like to express interest in developing a Special Session or Tutorial, or would just like more information, please visit the conference website for further details (http://www.ieee-vppc.org) and (http://www.ieee-vppc.org/2018/).
