Scope
Smart Cities represent a new way of managing and living in the modern urban space and a growing social services are digitally available to the citizens. Many planetary challenges in Smart city scenarios are arising and tackling issues related to energy, food, transportation, health-care, environment, smart architectures, intelligent infrastructure, education, governance, etc. TAMPAS aims at favoring multidisciplinary, cross-layer perspectives for smart cities, bringing together researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry. This workshop is an opportunity for all participants to meet, discuss and share their knowledge and findings related to Smart Cities topic and to present their solutions. We solicit both academic, research, and industrial contributions. Original scientific contributions (including experimental/pilot project assessments) and overview/survey papers are welcomed. http://www.est-umi.ac.ma/tampas18/ Topics and Tracks Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following topics: • Information and communication technologies (ICT) for smart cities • Machine-to-Machine / Devices-to-Devices communication for smart cities • Intelligent and/or wearable sensors • Vehicular Communications/Networks (V2X) • Autonomous vehicles in smart cities • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) communication networks for smart cities • Wireless Sensor Networks for smart cities • Context-awareness and human-environment interaction • Intelligent Transport Systems in smart cities • Sustainable mobility in smart cities • Internet-of-Things for smart cities • Internet of Mobile Things • Fog and Edge Computing • Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) for smart cities • Mobile and Cloud computing for smart cities • Software Defined Network (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) for smart cities • Big data analysis for smart cities • Massive data transportation in smart cities • Innovative software engineering methods for intelligent systems in smart cities • Computational intelligence for e-health, m-health, and smart health • Applications of Computational Intelligence in Health and Care Robotics Submission Guidelines Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers—up to 6 pages of length, using the EDAS link : https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=24589 for possible publication in the MoWNET 2018 Conference Proceedings, which will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
