General Information

ICTRS - the International Conference on Telecommunications and Remote Sensing, is a leading international discussion and knowledge dissemination forum that brings together Researchers and Practitioners interested in Telecommunications and Remote Sensing. In 2018, ICTRS will be held in Barcelona, Spain, following previous editions in The Netherlands (Delft, 2017), Italy (Milan, 2016), Greece (Rhodes, 2015), Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (Luxembourg, 2014), The Netherlands (Noordwijkerhout, 2013), and Bulgaria (Sofia, 2012).

The conference is organized by the international institute IICREST, co-organized by TU Delft - Delft University of Technology and ARSIT - the Association for Radio Systems and Intelligent Telecommunications. Cooperating organizations are: AUTH - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, IMI - the BAS Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, and AMAKOTA Ltd.
ICTRS 2018 is organized under the auspices of URSI.

Goals and Topics

Providing a specialized forum to researchers and practitioners interested in telecommunications and remote sensing, ICTRS welcomes not only foundational contributions but also more application-oriented ones. Hence, the conference areas are organized in two tracks, namely Foundations Track and Applications Track. Particular areas of interest within each of the mentioned tracks, are: FOUNDATIONS TRACK: (i) Wireless Telecommunications and Networking; (ii) Electromagnetic Waves and Fields; (iii) Electronics and Photonics; (iv) Remote Sensing and Data Interpretation; (v) Context Awareness.
