You are cordially invited to submit a paper for the special issue of the International Journal of Intelligent Autonomous Systems on ‘Hybrid Intelligent Models and Applications of Applied Soft Computing’.
Hybrid intelligent Models and Applications of Applied Soft Computing is a multidisciplinary field that uses different disciplines and fields of application for nonlinear dynamics and control system engineering, robotics, manufacturing, medical and applied science.
This special issue on hybrid intelligent Models and Applications, intends to bring together researchers to report the latest results or progress in the development of hybrid intelligent techniques for modeling and applications. As such, the focus of this special issue is on Computational Intelligence methods, with a focus on hybrid intelligent methods applied for modeling and applications. It will make an important contribution to the state of the arts in the field of hybrid intelligent systems and also to different areas of application such as pattern recognition, time-series prediction, intelligent control, manufacturing and robotics. Papers dealing with the diversity of application areas of hybrid intelligent systems as well as accuracy, robustness and efficiency needed for real-world applications will be solicited.
Potential topics of interest for this issue may cover a wide range of topics in Soft Computing,including, but not limited to: Ant Colony for Neural Network Optimization, Chaos Theory in Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Algorithm for Fuzzy System Optimization, Genetic Algorithms for Hybrid Intelligent Systems Design, Genetic Algorithms for Neural Network Optimization, Genetic Fuzzy Systems, Genetic Neural Systems, Hybrid Evolutionary Algorithms, Hybrid Modular Neural Networks, Hybrid optimization techniques, Neuro-Fuzzy-Genetic Approaches, Nature-inspired Smart Hybrid Systems, Neuro-Fuzzy Models and Applications, Hybrid Intelligent Systems for Pattern Recognition, Hybrid Intelligent Systems for Data Analysis and Data Mining

Meng Joo Er

Dr. Yongping Pan received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from the South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China in 2011. He was a Control Engineer with the Santak Electronic Company, Ltd., Eaton Group, Shenzhen, China, and the Light Engineering Company, Ltd., Guangzhou from 2007 to 2008. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Research Fellow with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. He has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed research papers in journals and conferences. His research interests include automatic control, computational intelligence, and robotics and automation. Dr. Pan is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Fuzzy Systems, and serves as a Reviewer for several flagship journals.
Dr. Xiao-jian Li received the B.S and M.S. degree in mathematics from Northeast Normal University, China in 2003 and 2006 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and engineering from Northeastern University, China, in 2011. He was a visiting scholar of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor with the College of Information Science and Engineering, Northeastern University. His current research interests include fault diagnosis, fault-tolerant control, fuzzy control and complex networks. He has authored/co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed and SCI indexed Journals papers and also published two book chapters. He was awarded the outstanding referee award for IET Control Theory & Applications in 2016. He is also an Associate Editor of International Journal of Intelligent Autonomous Systems.
Dr. Alok Kole is currently a Professor and HoD of Electrical Engineering department, RCC Institute of Information Technology, India. He was an Electrical and Control Engineer with the Tata Steel, Bechtel and GE Nuovo Pignone Ltd., from 1991 to 2001. His current research interests include Intelligent Control, Robust Adaptive Control, Image Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Neural Networks and Fuzzy modelling and control of nonlinear systems. He has authored or co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed research papers in journals and conferences. He has been invited as an Associate Editor/Editorial Board Member of numerous refereed journals. He serves as a Reviewer for many several flagship journals. He has also acted as conference chair of IEEE sponsored International conference.
Dr. Subhasis Bhaumik. is currently a Professor and Former Head of Aerospace Engineering department, IIEST, Kolkata. He is also the coordinator of School of Mechatronics and Robotics in IIEST Shibpur. His current research interests include Bio-robotics, Bio-mechatronics, Smart Material, CAD/CAM/Industrial Automation, Assistive Devices, Innovative Product Development and BCI/HMI. He is the coordinator of sponsored projects of Indo-US Fabrionics, BRNS-BARC, DST, AICTE, UGC, Larsen & Toubro, IE(I), DST-FIST and National Initiative on Design Innovation (MHRD). He is also a resource person of Indo-US Centre for Engineering Education (IUCEE) and empanelled faculty for Summer Research Fellow Programme of Indian National Science Academy / Indian Academy of Sciences. He has published many research papers in SCI journals and conferences. He has published six book chapters in In-Tech Vienna Austria, Springer Verlag Germany, Springer Switzerland, IGI Global.
