3rd Workshop on Attribute Based Access Control
March 21, 2018, Tempe, Arizona, USA

Attribute based access control is rapidly becoming a flexible form of access control, and has received significant attention recently. The goal of this third Workshop on Attribute Access Control (ABAC 2018), to be held in conjunction with the 8th ACM Conference on Data and Applications Security and Privacy (CODASPY 2018), is to foster a community of researchers interested in all aspects of attribute based access control. ABAC 2018 seeks submissions from diverse communities, including academic and corporate researchers, open-source projects, standardization bodies, governments, system and security administrators, software engineers and application domain experts.

Papers offering novel research contributions in all aspects of attribute based access control are solicited for submission to this workshop. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

ABAC models

Federated ABAC

ABAC administration

Attribute assurance

Safety and expressive power

Privacy-preserving ABAC models and mechanisms

ABAC model/system verification and testing

ABAC policy engineering and mining

ABAC in the context of specific technological domains such as: cloud computing, mobile computing, IoT and Blockchain

ABAC versus other access control models

ABAC in distributed systems

ABAC applications and use cases

Papers that primarily focus on other areas without a clear relationship to attribute based access control are outside the scope of this workshop.
