OBJECTIVE
The objective of the workshop is to enlighten the
participants on the ways and means of choosing a setting
for research, starting it, completing it and documenting it
effectively. It aims at enabling the participants to write
effective research papers and project proposals on their
own.

In general, the workshop covers all important facets
of writing excellent research papers for conferences and
journals and project proposals for funding agencies.
METHODOLOGY
 Lecture, Interaction and Hands-on sessions
RESOURCE PERSON
Sessions will be handled by the academic expert
members from Kongu Engineering College.
ELIGIBILITY
Researchers (Full Time / Part Time), Faculty members,
Academicians intending to do / doing research and Final
year UG and PG Students of various Engineering and Arts
and Science colleges can attend as research is not limited
to any one specific discipline .
BOARDING AND LODGING
Accommodation and boarding will be provided to the
participants on request at a nominal cost at the college
campus.
REGISTRATION
Each participant has to pay an amount of Rs.590/-
(including 18% of service tax) as registration fee which
includes refreshment and lunch, a kit, a course material
and a certificate.
The applicants should send their applications in the
specified format along with the registration fee in the
form of Demand Draft (DD), drawn in favor of “IIPC Grant
in Aid Account” payable at Perundurai or Erode, through
their Head of the department / Principal so as to reach us
on or before 16-09-2017. If selected, the participants
should confirm their participation on time.
