5th Annual International Conference on Psychology, 30-31 May 2011 & 1-2 June 2011, Athens, Greece



CALL FOR PAPERS AND PARTICIPATION



The Psychology Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) will hold its 5th International Conference on Psychology in Athens, Greece, 30-31 May 2011 & 1-2 June 2011. The conference website is www.atiner.gr/psychology.htm.

The registration fee is 250 euro, covering access to all sessions, 2 lunches, coffee breaks and conference material. Special arrangements will be made with local hotels for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a one-day cruise to picturesque Greek Islands and a half-day tour to archaeological sites will be organized.

Papers (in English only) from all areas of Psychology and related disciplines are welcome. Selected (reviewed) papers will be published in a Special Volume of the Conference Proceedings. If you think that you can contribute, please send an abstract of about 300 words, via email only (atiner@atiner.gr), before 11th of April 2011 to: Dr. Thanos Patelis, Head, Psychology Research Unit, ATINER & Vice President of Research and Analysis, The College Board, USA.Abstracts should include: Title of Paper, Family Name (s), First Name (s), Institutional Affiliation, Current Position, an email address and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of the submission. Due to large number of accepted (good) submissions after the first call, new submissions will be accepted only if those accepted decide to cancel. If you want to participate without presenting a paper, i.e. chair a session, evaluate papers to be included in the conference proceedings or books, contribute to the editing, or any other offer to help please send an email to Dr. Gregory T. The Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) was established in 1995 as an independent academic organization with the mission to become a forum where academics and researchers from all over the world could meet in Athens and exchange ideas on their research and discuss the future developments of their discipline. Since 1995, more than 100 international conferences were organized and more than 80 books have been published. The Institute is organized into four research divisions and nineteen research units. Each research unit organizes at least an annual conference and undertakes various small and large research projects.
