Call For Papers

EEE SERVICES 2017
June 25 - June 30, 2017, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
http://www.servicescongress.org/2017/

Sponsored by the Services Society and the Technical Committee on Services Computing (TC-SVC), IEEE Computer Society, The 2017 13th World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2017) and its co- located events, IEEE CLOUD 2017, ICWS 2017, SCC 2017, BigData Congress 2017, AIMS, ICCC, ICIOT, and ICFC 2017 calls for contributions for three new tracks:

NEW IEEE Services 2017 Track 1: Virtual Track, Call for papers:

IEEE Services 2017 inaugurates The IEEE Services Virtual Track; the track accepts high quality research, applications and short papers that relate to Services 2017 scope and its co- located events, IEEE CLOUD 2017, ICWS 2017, SCC 2017, BigData Congress 2017, AIMS, ICCC, ICIOT, ICFC 2017 and Services 2017 Special themes(see below).

The track is pragmatic gesture for our commitment to excellence, diversity and inclusiveness in support for Services researchers and practitioners who have issues related to funding, travel and mobility, social, maternity/paternity, health, work, visa and other restrictions, which can hinder physical attendance and their contribution to the conference. Another objective of the track is to attract a bigger slice of practitioners and researchers from key services industries, software houses, governments through invited roadmaps, positions, demonstrations and virtual presentations etc. The track hopes to widen the scope for multidisciplinary dialogue, views and positions through invited virtual talks that can contribute to the repository of Services knowledge and improve our understanding to open issues in Services Computing.

Authors of the Virtual Tack are invited to submit full papers (about 8 pages) or short papers (about 4 pages) as per IEEE 8.5 x 11 manuscript guidelines.. All papers should be in PDF and submitted via at the submission system. Papers will be reviewed by three program committee members and will be selected depending on their originality, quality and relevance to the conference. Each accepted paper will have to be presented virtually; acceptance will be pending on preparing high quality and accessible electronic presentation that will be reviewed by the committee before confirming acceptance. Authors of accepted papers are strongly encouraged to use animation and effective techniques for virtual presentations. Accepted papers will be included in the Proceedings of the IEEE 2017 World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2017), which will be published by IEEE Computer Society. One of the authors needs to register to the conference (Discounted Virtual rate applies – 50% of the standard registration rate). We aim to arrange for a special thematic journal issue, featuring the best papers presented in the track.

NEW! IEEE Services 2017 Track 2: Industry-Specific Services and Emerging Service-Oriented Technologies Track, Call for papers:

SERVICES 2017 hope to attract researchers, practitioners, and industry business leaders in all the following services sectors to help define and shape the modernization strategy and directions of the services industry. You are invited to submit research, engineering, experience reports, case studies, empirical, evaluation and business innovation papers on the following business services sectors. Papers that relate to the software engineering foundations and applications are particularly encouraged, with a focus on novel approaches for engineering requirements, design and architectures, testing, maintenance and evolution, model-driven development, software processes, metrics, quality assurance and new software economics models, search-based software engineering, benefiting day-to-day services sectors and derived through experiences, with appreciation to scale, pragmatism, transparency, compliance and/or dependability.
