Call For Papers

ITC is an outstanding conference, focussing on scientific approaches, modelling and evaluation of teletraffic topics, this year on following 5 areas:

1. Networking, Cloud/Fog/Ubiquitous Computing, and Applications (incl. energy, multimedia, security, privacy)
2. Future Internet Architectures (incl. SDN, NFV, HPC, ICN, CCN)
3. Wireless Networks and Applications (incl. 5G, IoT)
4. Measurements and Big Data Analytics (incl. characterization, monitoring, ebugging, fault-tolerance, reliability,
forensics, simulation, QoE)
5. Performance Evaluation, Control, and Optimization (incl. queueing, game theory, machine learning)

Being a conference major experts join and present, it is a unique opportunity for PhD students to come to this conference, learn and discuss in the sessions of the conference and present and discuss their PhD ideas and progress during a dedicated PhD workshop on the last day of the conference. Four different formats for discussing are foreseen.

1. The first is a short paper presented in the form of a poster session during the workshop for early PhD students, proposing the topic, the scientific approach along with first results. A 1-2 min teaser presentation during the main conference will draw attention to your poster presentation.
2. The second is full papers for later stage PhD students with significant results to be presented in the forum as a full 15 min presentation to the audience with sufficient time for discussion.
3. A dedicated poster session for PhD workshop papers will take place during the main conference. This allows you to interact with conference participants. A 1-2 min teaser presentation during the main conference will draw attention to your poster presentation.
4. Finally, experts of the different scientific areas, such as optimization, simulation, queueing theory, network calculus and others will be waiting for you to discuss your problems at “round tables”.

Submission Guidelines

A qualified peer process is set up. Each submitted paper will be reviewed by at least three expert reviewers. All papers are single-blind reviewed. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. The PhD student being the main author of accepted papers must attend the workshop and present the paper.

Please register your paper via EDAS: https://edas.info/N23168

Paper submissions must present original, research or experiences. Late-breaking advances and work-in-progress reports from ongoing research are also encouraged. Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere can be submitted. The workshop will feature two kinds of tracks:
⦁ Short papers
⦁ Long papers

Each submission must be written in English, accompanied by a 75 to 200 word abstract and a list of up to 5 key words. There is a length limitation of 6 pages for full papers and 4 pages for short papers (including title, abstract, figures, tables, and references). Submissions must be in IEEE 2-column style. Papers exceeding these limits, multiple submissions, and self-plagiarized papers will be rejected without further review.

Please follow the submissions guidelines: http://itc29.org/en/authors.html
