Journal Opportunities
Best papers of DHSS 2017 will be invited to submit an extended version to the following International Journals Special Issues:
• International Journal of Simulation and Process Modelling – Special Issue on: “New Advances of Modelling & Simulation for business processes, Production, services and supply chains” and “Recent Developments of simulation theories, methodologies, techniques and tools”
• International Journal of Service and Computing Oriented Manufacturing - Special Issue on: “Advanced Computing and Simulation based Manufacturing”

Indexing
The DHSS proceedings are indexed by Scopus.

Conference Aim
DHSS 2017 is a workshop focusing on the advances and potential of using M&S within this framework will bring experts together for the purpose of presenting and discussing all type of innovation related to the use of Modeling & Simulation in Defense and Homeland Security applications. DHSS will focus on new concepts, methods, techniques and tools for advancing in modeling & simulation sector. The International Program Committee will accept two types of camera-ready papers: extended paper (10 pages, 2 columns); regular paper (6 pages, 2 columns).
