The twelfth series of Symposium on Natural Language Processing (SNLP2017), which biannually held since 1993, has broadened to cover the knowledge in artificial Intelligence together with the knowledge in natural language processing. The newly name becomes The Joint International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (iSAI-NLP 2017). iSAI-NLP 2017 is the collaboration of a number of universities in Thailand with the purpose to promote researches in artificial intelligence, natural language processing and other related fields. As a unique, premier meeting of researchers, professionals and practitioners, iSAI-NLP provides a place and opportunity for them to discuss various current and advanced issues of interests in such areas. iSAI-NLP 2017 is hosted by College of Information Technology and Communications, Rangsit university and the Project of Administrative Corporation in Media Arts and Media Technology Curriculum, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi with the great support from Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT). The conference offers excellent networking opportunities to participants with a wonderful sensation of local culture. High quality technical papers on substantial, original, and unpublished research in all aspects of Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing are invited to be submitted electronically through the conference’s website. Submissions
Regular Research Papers should provide detail original research contributions. They must report new research results that represent a contribution to the field; sufficient details and support for the results and conclusions should also be provided.
Papers must be written in English and should describe original work in details. Each paper must follow the Springer format, according to the instructions on the conference web site at
ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/svproc/guidelines/Springer_Guidelines_for_Authors_of_Proceedings.pdf

Each paper must be accompanied by an abstract summarizing the contribution it makes to the field. Maximum paper length for regular papers is 10 pages (A4).

Review Process
Each paper will be reviewed by at least three reviewers. Papers will be evaluated on the basis of originality, impact, significance, quality of research, quality of writing, and contribution to conference program and diversity. Papers whose authors include one or more members of the program committee will be evaluated using the double-blinded review process.
