The Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC) is an annual event promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC)and the National Laboratory of Computer Networks (LARC). Over more than three decades of achievement, SBRC has become the most important national scientific event on computer networks and distributed systems in Brazil, and one of the busiest in the area of Computer Science. The importance of SBRC can be observed through the number of submissions and participants in your last editions.
The 35th edition of the Symposium will be from 15 to 19 May 2017 in Belem, Para. The organization is under the joint responsibility of the Faculdade de Computação and from Faculdade de Engenharia de Computação e Telecomunicações from the Para Federal University (UFPA). The event will comprises technical sessions, short courses, panels and debates, workshops, tool demos, and keynotes & tutorials provided by internationally renowned researchers. Authors are invited to submit full papers containing results of their scientific or technological research. The paper is expected to describe the problem, the conceptual basis, an assessment of the proposed solution, as well as the main contribution of the paper when compared to related work. The Submission of articles will be exclusively electronic via the JEMS (submissoes.sbc.org.br) system. Articles can be written in Portuguese or English, only in PDF format. Each article is limited to 14 pages, including abstract (and resumo, for articles in Portuguese), figures, diagrams and references. Papers should be formatted following the model articles of SBC available in http://www.sbc.org.br.
