SCOPE AND TOPICS OF INTEREST

The second edition of Cloudification of the Internet of Things 2016 (CIoT 16) is a conference focusing on the challenges of Internet of Things while considering the whole architecture based on Cloud solutions. In fact, Cloud infrastructures host end-users with their profiles and privileges, applications, flows generated by the IoT and M2M, algorithms processing the huge data of IoT, management system, security solutions, virtualization solutions, Network Function Virtualization, forwarding data based on SDN, etc.

The main objective of CIoT’16 is to address all the problematic of IoT systems from the sensors and machines to the end-users attached to the Cloud.

The conference covers all research and novel papers tackling the challenges of Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud environment such as (but not only):

- Architecture and protocols for IoT
- Cloud solutions for IoT
- FOG solutions for IoT

Instructions for paper submission

The authors are invited to submit high-quality technical papers for presentation at the conference and publication in CIoT’16 Proceedings, which may be published in IEEE Xplore database. All papers must be submitted in electronic form through the EDAS web site: http://edas.info/N22535
All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of five printed pages (10-point font) including figures without incurring additional page charges (maximum 1 additional page). Papers exceeding 6 pages will not be accepted at EDAS. Standard IEEE conference templates for LaTeX formats are found at here: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the conference and present the paper.
A special issue in Annals of telecommunications will be published with the best papers. Annals of Telecommunications is published by Springer, and indexed in ISI and Scopus Databases.
