Call For Papers

The VI Spanish Parallel Programming Contest will celebrate online (no presential), September 14th, 2016, from 15:30 to 20:00 (Spanish hour) as part of the Jornadas Sarteco (http://www.jornadassarteco.org/), to celebrate in Salamanca, Spain.

Teams of one or two students and one lecturer-manager. The students will be university students (first or second cycle degree, master or doctorate) with a maximum age of 28 at the time of registration. The lecturer acts as coach and is responsible for the correct team participation in the test.

Non-Spanish teams are allowed to participate in exhibition form (without prizes).

The contest consits of the parallelization with OpenMP, MPI or CUDA of sequential codes.
The score is based in the speed-up with respect to the sequential version provided by the organization.
