Call For Papers

Call for Papers - BDVA ’16

The symposium will be held in sunny Brisbane, at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Gardens Point campus. BDVA ’16 will host an exciting programme with internationally renowned keynote speakers, special sessions, and a day of complimentary hands-on workshops. BDVA ’16 aims to:

bring together leading experts from all relevant scientific domains to advance the understanding of visual analytics of complex, big, and dynamic data;
provide an exciting venue for researchers to network and establish national and international collaborations;
and provide early career scientists with an inspiring event allowing them to connect to relevant experts in the field.
Scope

The symposium will accept a range of manuscript types, including methods, systems, applications evaluation techniques and theoretical work in the area of Visual Analytics. The scientific scope of the symposium includes, but is not limited to:

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished regular papers of up to 8 pages that report novel and mature work or poster papers of 2 pages in length that report work in progress or preliminary results. Papers are to be submitted according to the submission guidelines. The conference proceedings will be included in IEEE Xplore. It is a condition of publication that accepted papers are presented by one of the authors. Presenters of accepted papers must register before the camera ready deadline to avoid withdrawal from the conference proceedings and programme.

Notification of paper acceptance: 31st August 2016
Submission of camera ready papers closes: 15th September 2016
Poster submission: 31st October 2016
Poster notification: 5th November 2016
