CALL FOR PAPERS: 18TH INTERNATIONAL DSM CONFERENCE 2016, SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL, 29-31 AUGUST, 2016
SUSTAINABILITY IN MODERN PROJECT MANAGEMENT Dependency and Structure Modelling (DSM) techniques support the management of complexity by focusing attention on the elements of a complex system and how they relate to each other. DSM-based techniques have proven to be very valuable in understanding, designing, and optimizing complex system architectures such as those of products, organizations, and processes. The International DSM Conference provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and developers of DSM-related tools to exchange experiences, discuss trends, and showcase results and tools. It also acts as a forum for developing new ideas regarding complexity management in all kinds of industries and from many different perspectives. The 18th DSM conference will be hosted by the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, on August 29th - 31st , 2016. In addition, a tutorial and keynote speeches will complement the event. Papers of four (4) to ten (10) pages can be submitted for review until May 6th, 2016 We are looking for submissions on all topics related to the advances and applications of dependency modelling and complex structures. The conference is run by the international DSM Community in cooperation with the University of São Paulo (USP), the Journal of Modern Project Management, the Institute of Product Development (TUM), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and is endorsed by the Design Society.
