OzCHI 2016 28th Australian National Conference on Human-Computer Interaction Nov 29 - Dec 2 2016, Launceston, Australia
OzCHI is the annual conference for the Computer-Human Interaction Special Interest Group (CHISIG) of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia, a non-profit event. It is Australia's leading forum for work in all areas of Human-Computer Interaction. OzCHI attracts an international community of practitioners, researchers, academics and students from a wide range of disciplines including user experience designers, information architects, software engineers, human factors experts, information systems analysts, social scientists or managers. We look forward to your involvement at this year's OzCHI conference.

This year's theme is Connected Futures
We invite contributions on all topics related to Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design and the design of interactive technologies, including practical, technical, empirical and theoretical aspects. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Usability, accessibility, and user experience
* Social and collaboration technologies
* User interface and interaction design
* Interaction techniques and devices
* Interaction using specific devices, capabilities, or modalities
* Mashups and end-user programming
* Ubiquitous computing
* HCI for cloud computing
* Visualisation, mixed reality and wearable computing
* Intelligent user interfaces
* Consideration of affective, emotional and motivational aspects
* Design and social research methods
* User interaction issues with the use of ICT in expanding cultural contexts and in all aspects of home, work, play and life
* Digital arts
* HCI in games and entertainment
* HCI in health and welfare
* HCI in education
* HCI in Benevolence, including research in areas such as aid and development, human rights, community projects etc.

Submissions Guidelines and submission details can be found at http://www.ozchi.org/2016/ and following the links to the relevant submission area. In addition, for long and short papers, please follow the detailed instructions in the Paper Template and Submission Guidelines (Word format). Both long and short papers will be subject to a double blind review process by an international panel and evaluated on the basis of their significance, originality, and clarity of writing. This review will be based on the full text of the submitted paper.
It is necessary for at least one author of any accepted submission to register and attend the conference to have the paper published in the proceedings
