National Conference on Man Machine Interaction (NCMMI-2016) OCT 07, 2016 VIT University, Chennai, India Call for Papers Machines have become an indispensable part of a man’s life. Some say that humans are enslaved to modern technology and reject progress on principle, while fanatics of new trends simply must have not only the latest useful tools but every gadget as well. We see machines used in daily routines or in research, to make coffee, to save lives, to study secrets of DNA on the micro, and for space travels on the macro scale. The aim of the Conference is to bring together scientists interested in all aspects of theory and practice of man-machine interactions, providing an international forum for exchanging ideas, setting questions for discussion, and sharing the experience. Topics (Topics include but are not limited to: ) 1. Computational intelligence Fuzzy sets, rough sets, near sets intelligent systems Evolutionary computation neural networks, granular computing, soft control and soft computing, Approximate reasoning. 2. Pattern recognition Computer vision and graphics, topology of images, Image recognition and processing, Recognition and Processing of audio signals. 3. Data processing, storage and transfer Data warehouses, Multimedia systems, Data storage and retrieval, Communication systems, Computer networks, Microcontrollers, Compression techniques. 4. Assistive technologies Accessible computer hardware, Computer software for disabled, Robots and dedicated devices, Accessible Internet, E-learning for disabled, Adaptive and intuitive Interfaces. 5. The focus of industry track is on papers that address the practical, applied, or pragmatic or new research challenge issues related to the use of Man Machine Interaction in industry. We accept full papers (up to 6 pages) and extended abstracts (2-4 pages). Submission Guidelines Submissions must include abstract, keywords, the e-mail address of the corresponding author and should not exceed 8 pages for full conference papers, 6 pages for short / work in progress papers, and 2 pages for posters, including all tables and figures in the Modeling of Artificial Intelligence journal format (http://ejournal11.com/en/obrazec.html). All paper submissions must represent original and unpublished work. Each submission will be peer reviewed by at least three program committee members. Submission of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the author s will register for the conference and present the work. Submit your paper(s) as a PDF at the submission mail (ncmmi2016@gmail.com). Publication Publication Accepted and presented papers will be published in International Journal of Advanced Research in Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will not be included in the journal Distinguished Papers Distinguished papers presented at the conference, after further revision, will be published in Modeling of Artificial Intelligence journal (Global Impact Factor – 0.309) or special issues on Man Machine Interface in Int. J. of Knowledge Engineering and Soft Data Paradigms by Inderscience publishers. DATES TO REMEMBER: Last date for the receipt of papers: 27th SEP, 2016.
