Call For Papers

Our world is changing, all spheres of our life are transforming radically. These changes are usually associated with intensive integration of ICT in all spheres of social life. However, the situation is even more complicated: our consciousness as well as our perception of reality is transforming. In other words, people are changing their worldviews, including our scientific worldview. Needless to say that it causes the growing interest of researchers to the problems and to the future of science education. In contrast with this optimistic trend, the massive decline of students’ interest in science education has to be mentioned. Both of the above trends place science education into the public and academic agenda. Our book is intending to discuss to study these two contradicting trends as well as their interrelations. The book will discuss the difficulties and challenges that educators meet when face the STEM education problems in contemporary changing world. The focus of the book is planned to be in the Inquiry based STEM education as the most promising approach in science education involving both the natural curiosity of learners, and fundamental changes in science education associated with the integration of ICT.

This comprehensive and timely publication aims to be an essential reference source, building on the available literature in the field of Inquiry based STEM education. It is hoped that the will provide the resources necessary for educators, researchers and students to study and to deep understanding regularities and features of STEM in Digital Age as well as vision and ways for transformations of the STEM education.
