Call For Papers

Drone Dealer Expo is a 3-day event focused on the Channel, bringing together Drone manufacturers, distributors and resellers at a dedicated place and time to exchange ideas and techniques, and learn about new products and selling opportunities.

Manufacturers can meet with current or potential new dealers and distributors to discuss carrying their products, future product roadmaps, and service and support options. It will be the one place where all of the drone distribution channels get to meet face to face and focus on their issues.

Sessions, panels, and case studies will focus on drone distribution and market trends, merchandising and e-commerce techniques, best practices for selling, supporting and servicing drone buyers, selling to vertical markets, marketing and promotion, and the rapidly changing legal environment.

The dates are: April 11-13, 2016 The Florida Hotel, Orlando FL

Drone Dealer Expo’s technical program consists of 45-minute sessions. Approximately 25% of the sessions are panels (moderator, 4 panelists) and 75% “classes” taught by individual experts on the subject. There are also Product Roadmaps presented by manufacturers and Keynotes, typically by invitation.

Your Proposal

When you propose a class or panel, be clear about the objective. Details matter! Examples are great and bring the subject matter to life. The goal is to give practical tips, tricks and techniques that will help the attendees in their day to day job right away. The sessions are not an opportunity for a sales pitch, but rather a time to teach attendees new skills, and provide new ideas or ways of doing things.

In your session proposal, please include the following:

• The proposed title of your class or panel. We reserve the right to change it to our style.
• The length of your class (45 minutes, although some subjects can be presented as “Part 1 and Part 2”).
• A description of 150 – 300 words. The more detail you provide, the better. We reserve the right to change it to our style.
• Explain what prerequisite skills or knowledge should be expected.
• Your bio of 125–150 words, with a summary of your expertise. We reserve the right to change it to our style.
• Your hi-res digital headshot. See http://www.bzmedia.com/photo.htm.
• Twitter and blog addresses (if you have them).

Please submit a proposal electronically as a text e-mail or as a Word document to Katie Serignese, Conference Programs Director, at kserignese@bzmedia.com by Friday, January 9, 2016.
