PRICM is a series of triennial international conferences devoted to advanced materials and processing. After being initiated in 1992, the conference has been jointly and in-rotation organized by academic institutes or societies in five countries, Australia, China, Japan, Korea and United States and attracts many researchers and students in the field of materials science.

The PRICM9, the ninth in this conference series, is hosted by The Japan Institute of Metals and Materials (JIM) and will be held at Kyoto International Conference Center in Kyoto, Japan from August 1 to 5, 2016.

It includes plenary, keynote and invited lectures and contributed presentations on a variety of subjects or topics. We welcome you all to attend this wonderful conference and to join us for exciting discussions.
