=====================================================================

The International Conference on Evaluation and Assessment in Software
Engineering (EASE) has become the premier event of the empirical
software engineering and evidence-based software engineering community.
The EASE conference offers an international forum where empirical
researchers and practitioners can present their latest work, and where
issues related to all forms of empirical research and evaluation in
software practice can be discussed. In 2016, the 20th EASE conference
will take place in Limerick, Ireland.

Following the EASE tradition, we continue to invite submissions on any
aspect of evaluation and assessment covering a wide range of topics in
software engineering. EASE 2016 will feature five tracks:

1. Technical papers
2. Industry Track
3. Short papers & Work-in-Progress
4. Tool evaluation and demonstration papers (New Track!)
5. Doctoral Symposium

PROCEEDINGS AND SPECIAL SECTION IN JOURNAL
Accepted papers will be included in the proceedings published in the
ACM International Conference Proceedings Series. A selection of the
best papers will be invited to submit extended versions for tentative
publication in a Special Section of Information and Software Technology
published by Elsevier.

TOPICS OF INTEREST
We invite the submission of papers describing original and unpublished
results of empirical research in all areas of Software Engineering.
Submissions should report completed research, advanced work-in-progress,
or experiences in the topics related to any aspect of empirical software
engineering that include, but are not limited to:

- Experiments and Quasi-experiments
- Case Studies
- Survey Research
- Ethnographic and Observational Studies
- Field Studies
- Action Research
- Replications of Empirical Studies
- Experience Reports
- Systematic reviews, mapping studies and meta-analyses
- Tools to support evaluation

Industry track
We welcome submissions from industry including experiences of
assessing current practice, adopting and evaluating new technologies,
gathering evidence via experiments, pilot studies, case studies, etc.

SUBMISSION
We invite submissions in any of the following forms:

- Regular research papers (max. 10 pages).
- Systematic reviews (max. 10 pages + max. 2 pages for references).
