MIST 2015 http://misteike.org/index.html Modelling Innovation Systems and Technologies October, 22-23, 2015 We are pleased to invite you to participate in the MIST2015 Conference to be held in Oeiras, Portugal, on October 22-23, 2015. The conference will be an excellent occasion to discover the beauty and diversity of the natural environment and culture of Oeiras, Cascais and Sintra regions in Lisbon. MIST2015 aims to investigate and to discover innovative solutions to answer the world global questions and to design from the scratch new business models that address environmental impacts. High-tech industry, entrepreneurs, civil participants, and academia (quadruple helix) should not only discuss the facts and concepts but also collaborate together under common platforms of R&D for advancing new innovation applied economics, policy experimental modelling and technologies. MIST2015 is not only following the traditional academic conference approach but also, we are specially determined to create the time and space for interaction and creativity for the future actions thus, not so much focused on reporting from past. We are compromised in creating an environment for the “open science” prioritizing the cross-cutting themes of modern research and innovation methods hence highlighting impactful research and capturing the demand side attention and interest as well (policy-making). What to expect from MIST2015 and what shall be the follow-up actions? • New ideas; • Cross-disciplinary interaction; • Insight to new research and innovation approaches; • Seed from new collaborative projects across boundaries. At the Atlantic University we believe the MIST2015 International Conference will be an important and meaningful event, bringing together citizens from all over the world and contributing to a better understanding of changes and challenges faced by the modern world and our discipline, as well as the global responsibility we all share. We look forward to welcoming you to Oeiras in October 2015! Kind regards, Juan Carlos Infante Moro |
