Welcome to the International Water Conference 2016 (IWC2016).
The international conference on Water Resources In Arid Areas: The Way Forward, will be held on March 13-16, 2016 at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Complete information and online registration are available on http://conference.squ.edu.om/Default.aspx?tabid=2012.

This conference also calls for contributions from interested individuals or institutions. Presentation and paper topics include but are not limited to: Desalination, Waste water, Water management, Socio-hydrology, Subsurface hydrology, Isotope hydrology, Climatic changes and water resources, Flash flooding, Water quality, Water pollution.

Both oral and poster presentations will be held during the conference. The best 3 presentations of each category will be given awards. Please prepare your poster according to the template available from the conference website. Abstract should be submitted online.

All the IWC2016 accepted papers will be published by Springer. Springer will submit the proceedings to Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge, SciVerse Scopus for indexing. Excellent papers will be the selected by the conference editors and published as a special issue of Arabian Journal of Geosciences (AJGS, Impact Factor 1.224). Authors of high-quality papers (determined by the editors) could be supported for the conference trip.
