SI-CAEE 2016 : Special Issue on Engineering Innovations in Robotics and Applications
Call For Papers
Aim and Scope
This CAEE special issue is the second in Robotics Series. The first one on ‘Future Trends in Robotics and Autonomous Techniques’ was published in April 2015. This special issue will focus on recent advanced technologies as well as future research relevant to all aspects of robotics, and the challenges in designing, developing, and deploying these technologies in various applications. It is expected to be an effective channel for researchers to report on the latest results and findings on robotics engineering and related issues, while proposing new ideas and directions for future development.
Researcher have used different technologies like Sensors, advanced Cameras, Laser, Sonar etc to automate Robots and have used them in different applications including GPS enabled services, Autonomous techniques, very far distance communication, Robot intelligence and to do specific tasks, but a lot of work is needed to achieve it in commercialization and wide adaptability. The applications in Medical and Military need special attention to for high accuracy. Robotics is such an area where robust techniques would be highly advantageous and would automated many minor issues in current humanoid systems. The advance techniques and applications would make robotics reachable to a wide audience and more applicable areas.

Papers will be evaluated based on their originality, presentation, relevance and contribution to the fields of robotics, as well as their suitability to the special issue, and for their overall quality. The submitted papers have to describe original research which has not been published nor currently under review by other journals or conferences. Guest editors will make an initial determination of the suitability and scope of all submissions. Papers that either lack originality, clarity in presentation or fall outside the scope of the special issue will not be sent for review and authors will be promptly informed in such cases.
