Call For Papers

The V Spanish Parallel Programming Contest will celebrate online, September 24th, 2015, from 15:30 to 20:00 (Spanish hour) as part of the Jornadas Sarteco (http://www.jornadassarteco.org/), to celebrate in Córdoba, Spain.

The contest consits of the parallelization with OpenMP, MPI or CUDA of sequential codes.
The score is based in the speed-up with respect to the sequential version provided by the organization.

Inscription until September 11, 2015, in http://luna.inf.um.es

Maximum number of teams is 30. Admission in order of inscription.

Inscriptions by July will be given access to one of the previous contests, so that they can practice with the system and problems.

Participation can be in REGULAR or EXHIBITION mode.

REGULAR participation is in teams of one or two students from Spanish universities and no older than 28 years, and a professor-coach, who is responsible from the correct particpation of the team.

In EXHIBITION mode can participate individuals or teams, not necessarily Spanish or students, and without age limit. They will not appear in the classification and do not participate in the prizes. Participants in this mode will be admitted only if the maximum number of teams is not reached in regular mode.
